ETCH DANCE CO. ETCH Dance Co. was born out of the director’s desire to create dance grounded in life experiences & to produce direct, open, & expressive works. The Company explores issues of identity, relationships, comuunity, themes of loss, memory, & home. Founded in 2008, the Company presents athletic & kinesthetically driven work that is exciting & energetic. ETCH’s work promotes understanding, awareness, & appreciation for contemporary modern dance in Central Pennsylvania. In addition to producing work in the Central region, the Company performs throughout the Northeast presenting work regularly in Philadelphia, New York, & the D.C. area. The Company also make site- specific work & facilitates community projects.
